           Education is the most powerful instrument which we can use to change the world. It is a process of acquiring knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and habits. Education helps us to realize our self and prepares us to meet new challenges too. In the process of education, teacher education is a programme that is related to the development of teacher proficiency and competence that would enable and empower the teacher to meet the requirements of the profession and face the challenges therein. Education also helps in making a person independent. When one is educated enough, they won’t have to depend on anyone else for their livelihood. They will be self-sufficient to earn for themselves and lead a good life.

           The Main aim of education is to solve physical, social, economical and moral problems of life and in solving all these we must find the ultimate beauty of life. We are here with the motive to help prospective teachers to develop competence to teach subjects of their specialization on the basis of an adequate theory of learning and sound knowledge of their subjects.
